My passion with birth work began at the young age of 10, after witnessing the birth of my sister. A personal interest, fascination and miraculous wonder in pregnancy, childbirth and babies began at that very moment. After helping friends during their labors, I realized being a doula was a calling and I felt a strong intuition in aiding moms in the labor process. I personally have had 3, beautiful births. Being in harmony with my mind and the steps my body was making through each labor stage was extremely helpful.
The experience of birth and postpartum is a normal, natural process that a woman’s body is designed to experience. A main focus of mine is to assist women with being in tune with the changing hormonal effects in her body. My philosophy is to offer a non-judgmental, holistic, intuitive, nurturing and a simplistic approach to pregnancy, birth and transitioning at home.
My goal is to educate along with giving safe, supportive care to every family. My hope is that women feel empowered by their birth experience, no matter what path is taken. Birth, to me, does not stop after delivery. I am committed to providing continuous care with compassion, humility and empathy. It is an honor to hold a space in your birth experience.
